Alongside her international career as a concert pianist, Lana is a dedicated educator with more than a decade of teaching experience. Since 2025, she has taught piano and chamber music at Musikskolan Lilla Akademien in Stockholm, where she maintains a very small and select studio, offering students individual mentorship shaped by her experience as a performer and collaborative artist.

Suran’s teaching is rooted in the same values that define her own musicianship: curiosity, artistic integrity, and a deep understanding of music as both a craft and a form of expression. She is committed to helping students develop their individual musical voices while building a strong technical and interpretative foundation. Her students have been recognized with prizes at international piano competitions, reflecting the results of her thoughtful and dedicated approach to musical development.

Previously, Suran has taught at the Lang Lang Academies in Hangzhou and Shanghai,  Mannes Preparatory Division in New York, the European School in Brussels, and the American Conservatory of Music in Paris. She has also served as a teaching assistant to several of her mentors, gaining further experience in guiding young musicians at different stages of their artistic growth.
